Council and Committees
CCAA Council and Committees play a vital role in the development, endorsement and governance of these activities.
Council
is responsible for the direction and governance of Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia and is made up of representatives of Foundation Members and representatives of the Pre-mixed Concrete and Extractive Industries.
The Finance and Policy Committee
is empowered to consider matters relating to the Association's finances, planning and policy development.
The Technical Liaison Committee
ensures that there is communication and coordination between the various technical subcommittees on matters including codes and standards, environmental, research and sharing of information.
The Market Development Committee
has the important task of overseeing the development and execution of the Market Development Plan, which is continually reviewed to ensure current market conditions are understood and opportunities for growth are realised.
The Extractive Industries Committee
coordinates and provides a national focus to the activities and issues from state committees related to the manufacture and supply of quarry products. These include planning, production, transport, technical, safety, training, health and environment issues.
The Premixed Concrete Committee
coordinates and provides a national focus to the activities and issues from state committees related to the manufacture and supply of pre-mixed concrete. These include production, transport, technical, safety, training, health and environment issues.
State Committees
there are several state-based committees that provide an opportunity for members to engage and contribute to the direction of the association. These committees cover a wide range of topics, including transport, technical, OHS, planning and environmental.
