Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) Public Domain Awards provide significant and national recognition
for designers, contractors, developers and asset owners who set new benchmarks in the use of concrete to enhance
our public domain. Judged by an eminent panel of independent landscape and design Architects, the awards have grown
in prestige and notable peer recognition over the years attracting entries of a world-class standard.
The 2009 overall winner was a project that competed against 110 other entries and described by the Jury as '...an example of apparent simplicity and exemplary coherence...' - ASPECT Studios Former Water Police Site, Pyrmont, Sydney. If you have a project that was completed between 1st April 2009 and 31st March 2011 and that exemplifies the unique and
innovative possibilities of concrete in both design and construction, CCAA would like to invite you to enter the 2011 Public Domain Awards.
Categories include the use of concrete as a landscape element in the public domain in Streets, Paths, Precincts, Walls, Bridges, and Public Artwork and Sustainable Design. The Best Project in each Category, State and the Best Overall Project will be recognised in Awards ceremonies held across Australia in 2011. Entries close 31st March 2011. Need more information?
