Abstract:
After more than 30 years of use, the track at the Valley Preferred Cycling Centre in Breinigsville, PA, had begun to show signs of its age, and riders noticed many flaws on the track's surface. These flaws included small bumps s[pread throughout the track surface, large bumps in various locations, as well as multiple areas of deterioration on the inner/outer perimeter joints. The track had received a new surface coating a little more than 10 years prior; however, the problems that existed on the track would require a more intensive approach to meet the cyclists' demands.
