Abstract:
Shotcreting is an old technique: fresh concrete was sprayed with compressed air against a mould or some other surface already in the 1910s. One of the advantages of the 100-year old technique has always been its flexibility; shotcrete can be moulded in any shape. Today it is moulded to create bases for modern recreational activities, such as wall-climbing and skateboarding.
