6th Annual Quarries & Concrete Safety Seminar


Seminar Theme: “Understanding and Managing Critical Risk”

The NSW Quarries & Concrete Safety Seminar will be held on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 at Rydges Campbelltown. Co-hosted by the Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) and Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA), this one-day interactive program addresses important current safety and health issues relevant to the quarrying, mining, and concrete industries. A trade exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Seminar.

The aim of the Seminar is to:

  • Provide a forum to share information on safety and health issues affecting the quarrying, mining and concrete sector
  • Share experiences and knowledge relating to workplace practice and policy
  • Learn new ways to provide a safe and healthy work environment
