Concrete's Non-Combustibility shown in RMIT Fire Tests (2020)

This report summarises the outcomes of RMIT Fire Testing carried out on Concrete in 2020 (to AS 1530.1) and the attached outcomes demonstrate Concrete is non-combustible.

  • Fire Testing (AS 1530.1) on Concrete and Mortar by Warringtonfire (NATA Registered Lab for AS 1530.1 (RTF190386.1 and RTF190386.2). These are the test reports which demonstrate the non-combustibility of the concrete and mortar samples.
  • Heat of Combustion reports on concrete and mortar (IFFE200304 and IFFE200305)
  • Modified Cone exposure test (IFFE200312).
