CCAA Industry Insights Budget Lunch with Hon Eric Abetz MP | Tasmania

Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia welcomed industry leaders, government representatives and stakeholders for the Tasmania Industry Insights Budget Lunch, featuring a keynote address from the Hon Eric Abetz MP, Treasurer of Tasmania.

The Treasurer’s Budget update made clear both the opportunity and the challenge ahead for Tasmania. The 2026–27 Budget continues to focus on essential services, housing affordability, health infrastructure, cost-of-living relief and major long-term infrastructure investment. 

For CCAA and our members, the key message is straightforward: Tasmania cannot deliver its housing, transport, ports, hospitals, renewable energy and urban renewal ambitions without a secure, local and sustainable supply of heavy construction materials.
