Victorian Legislative Update 2026
Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia recently hosted a legislative briefing in Melbourne, delivered in partnership with MinterEllison, examining the significant regulatory and policy changes impacting the heavy construction materials sector.
The session brought together industry professionals to hear directly from MinterEllison’s Environment & Planning team on key Victorian and Commonwealth reforms, and what these developments mean for approvals, compliance and operational risk in 2026 and beyond.
Across all sessions, a consistent theme was the growing complexity of the regulatory landscape and the need for operators to strengthen risk management, compliance systems and stakeholder engagement approaches as reforms are progressively implemented.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A, providing attendees with the opportunity to explore how these changes will apply in practice across their operations.
CCAA thanks MinterEllison’s Environment & Planning team for sharing their expertise and insights.
