2019 State CCAA Innovation Award Winners Announced

Congratulations to all the state winners of the 2019 CCAA Innovation Awards, who will now go on as finalists for the biennial National Awards in 2020.

The winners were announced at dinners across the country throughout May, July and August. These events were attended by members, guests, government representatives, sponsors and industry.

The national winners will be announced at CMIC20.

For the first time in 2019, CCAA introduced a new category into the awards program - Diversity & Inclusion - meaning it will also be celebrated for the first time at next year's national awards.

"As our industry moves to realise the social and economic benefits that diverse and inclusive workplaces offer, we have introduced a new award category that recognises innovative approaches to strengthening Diversity & Inclusion in our industry", says CCAA CEO, Ken Slattery.

"I congratulate all our participants and thank them for sharing the innovative work they're doing across these important business areas. I'd also like to thank our sponsors for their tremendous support."

CCAA strongly believes in the sharing of new ideas and approaches across these areas of common challenge, will create a better industry and that is safer, more sustainable and more in tune with the society we serve.

Nearly 140 entries were submitted across all states in this year's round of awards, with 17 in the Diversity & Inclusion category.
