Across the country, over 950 guests from industry and government attended the six state dinners to celebrate more than 90 entries submitted for judging across three categories of industry innovation.
"Coming out of COVID lockdowns, this have been the first time in three years that the industry has been able to come together in each State to celebrate the Awards," says CCAA CEO Ken Slattery.
"In many ways, it's been a celebration of our industry's resilience as much as it has about innovation".
With a new Awards framework focusing on industry sustainability including a new category for sustainable products and services, this year's Awards program highlights the importance of innovation in social, economic and environmental sustainability outcomes.
"The new Awards Framework also supports the path our industry is taking towards decarbonisation, and acknowledges the innovative and collaborative approaches being taken to get us there," Mr Slattery says.
"I want to congratulate all of this years winners and finalists for shining a bright light on the pathway to a more sustainable future."
