CCAA Partners with Ground-Breaking Concrete Exhibition

CCAA is proud to be supporting JamFactory's CONCRETE: art design architecture  exhibition. The exhibition commences on 1 March 2019 at JamFactory's Gallery One in Adelaide, before touring Australia through to 2021.

This major exhibition is exploring the innovative ways that concrete is being used by artists, designers and architects in Australia in the 21st century. Curated by JamFactory's Margaret Hancock Davis (Senior Curator) and Brian Parkes (CEO), the exhibition includes 21 artists, designers and architects from across Australia and brings together products, projects and works of art that reflect many of the current preoccupations with concrete within contemporary art, design and architecture in Australia.

"Some of our most remarkable and lauded buildings, houses and structures owe their existence to the flexibility of concrete. Indeed, concrete is today an ubiquitous feature of our built environment. This is not just because it affords architects and builders almost limitless freedom to explore forms and finishes, but because it is readily available, and its material qualities and capabilities well-understood and trusted." - Ken Slattery, CEO, CCAA.

CCAA is excited to see the exhibition come to life in early 2019.
