Business Continuity Guideline COVID-19 ELearning Course
Due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19, companies in the heavy construction materials sector (cement, concrete and extractives) may continue to operate in accordance with guidance issued by the Chief Medical Officer.
It is essential to combine the containment of the virus with the maintenance of economic activity and the protection of the health of workers. The industry provides the essential supply of materials to the construction sector and must also protect customers.
Target Audience
This ELearning course is intended for staff and managers of CCAA member companies to understand and minimise the risk from COVID-19. CCAA recommend it be used as part of an overall education package for the heavy construction materials sector.
Learning Objective
The learning objective of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the risks and mitigation strategies in dealing with COVID-19 in the workplace.
Delivery
This ELearning course, which is accessible via the CCAA website, should take around 20 minutes to complete.
Assessment
A series of learning checks are embedded within the course with a personalised certificate available upon completion.
Cost
The course is provided free of charge.
