Our guest speaker is Dennis Walsh, Chief Engineer - Engineering and Technology, Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). Dennis oversees a wide range of technologies including geospatial, road design and hydraulics; materials and geotechnical engineering; traffic engineering and systems; and safer roads infrastructure.

We will also hear an update from Acciona on the $1.96 Billion MacIntyre Wind Farm Precinct (near Warwick) - Acciona's biggest renewable energy facility, and one of the largest onshore wind farms in the world.

	Peter Gibson McIntyre Windfarm precinct Project Manager for Acciona. Peter has been in the construction industry for 35 years spending most of his career in the petrochemical and power industries. Peter has worked on three previous wind farms projects having just come off what is currently the largest wind project in Australia.
	Acciona Energy’s Community Relations, Maria Baker started in the construction industry in 2013 spending most of her time in QCLNG and APLNG . Maria’s responsible for the development and implementation of community benefit engagement activities inclusive of operational land access requirements for the Macintyre project, landholders and the community.
